Welcome to all who are interested in checking out our chapter. We are one of the oldest chapters of the society starting in 1975. We hosted a national convention in 1980. Our aim is to educate our members in the many forms of decorative art. We look forward to greeting any and all new members and visitors.

Rocky Mountain Hi is proud to announce that both Marlene Haviland (September) and Wanda Classen (February) passed their critiques and have become Certified Botanical Artists.

Char Bucher and Marlene Haviland have joined both the local and National clubs for Botanical Artists. Wanda plans to join later.

Char Bucher had a botanical picture of cactus juried into an international exhibit at the Arizona-Desert Museum in Tucson. It will be on display until June.

The acrylic class taught by Annie Dennis was a lot of fun. Annie is so organized that I think every table had their own painted sample.

On April 11 there will be a watercolor class with Charles Danford. You can see the photo on the chapter website. Sign up now with Marlene if you wish to take the class. In April we will have our meeting on April 13. THAT IS ONE WEEK EARLIER THAN USUAL. Our guest is Susan Ruben demonstrating colored pencil on mylar. Bring a few colored pencils.

May usually brings flowers, and for us it will bring Joanne Burney demonstrating Pan Pastels. The chapter will provide the paper for your experiments ... Char
